The season of spring has come in Japan. Citizens go see public gardens, plan some picnics by the meadows, and even go sight-seeing on cherry blossom trees, but this season is also good for anime fans all over the world as another pile of new anime seasons and series are about to come. Some of the hottest anime in spring 2021 are “Eighty-Six’’, "Tokyo Revengers", "Don't Toy With Me Miss Nagatoro", and so on. One anime that caught the attention of some deep-diver fans is entitled as "Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song" animated by Wit Studio, and they say that people are missing a precious gem!

Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song anime takes us to the year 2056, where technology is advanced thus resulting in a wide production of artificial intelligence, or AI, in humanoid android bodies. In order for them to work their part, they are assigned with a ‘mission’ in their system in order to avoid programming deficiency and constraints.
Diva, nicknamed as ‘Vivy’ by her first fan who was a child, is the first autonomous AI and a songstress AI programmed with a mission to ‘sing with all your heart’ in order to make her audience happy. She works on a small platform in an amusement park, where she was told that someday she will perform on the main stage. However, Vivy is having problems understanding her mission, as androids do not have an actual human heart (as spoken by her). She then meets Matsumoto, a cube AI from the future, who seeks help on Vivy to stop the war between humans and androids 100 years from the future by fixing singularity points that might lead to the dreadful future Matsumoto was from.
Some people tend to skip this anime since they are inclined to believe that this is an ‘idol’ genre, where singing and dancing are the main points of the series. Although the singing is unavoidable, it mainly focuses on Vivy’s journey throughout the 100 years and discovering what it means to sing by heart and make people happy with her songs. She discovers more about the feelings that humanity pursues, and discovers emotions that are not even capable for an android to have.
To conclude, this anime series is a bit underrated and deserves more attention from fans out there. Despite the series being slept on, it has been voted as Best Anime Series of Spring 2021. I, myself, did not consider in watching this series as I am not a big fan of idol genres, but after seeing recommendations I tried it and quickly got engulfed of it. You will not regret watching this piece of work. To those who plan on watching, get ready for some action-packed episodes, marvelous and catchy songs, and a box of tissues, for this series is far too beautiful to be skipped upon, I can assure you.
