Flipped : You never forget your first love

Here is a heart fluttering movie about a girl named Julie Baker who has fallen in adoration towards a boy named Bryce Loski who had just moved into the neighborhood of Julie. Bryce and his family moved in Julie's neighborhood when both Julie and Bryce were still at second grade. Julie had always pursued Bryce ever since grade school all the way to the last year of high school. Julie had always wanted Bryce to catch feelings for her.

A sudden reverse card

The director to this movie seems to specifically pick a 1960's kind of setting, theme, and vibe to portray the days wherein teenage American innocence was in full bloom. The wholesomeness displayed in the movie takes the audience's attention towards the innocence those days back then held. Explicit contents weren't showcased and purity was all throughout.

The relatable feelings and emotions of how being a teenage boy and girl keeps the viewers hooked. Oh how wonderful it is to fall in love and also how it feels to give love, the adrenaline you get to feel when heart melting moments unexpectedly unfold right in front of your eyes. The rush it gave Julie to be able to grow up with a childhood crush and be in the exact class as he is all the way from grade school till the end of high school.

Bryce being the slow witted person he is, he'd only realize that he has fallen for Julie. He'd realize that he had have mutual feelings with Julie all along. Maybe it is a hormonal thing to suddenly adore the girl you've thought of as a pest from your childhood. The timing just was off, the guy you've had a crush on for years start to seem to turn into a jerk in your eyes. Truly a "Flipped" story it is.
