It was love at first sight.

Elise serves as a reminder of who we are as persons. How we behave as a friend, as a child, as a student, and as a lover. You may not fit into all of them, but you have undoubtedly been one of them at some point in your life.
The story follows the events in the life of Bert, a quick-witted, sickly emotional, and independent young man who falls in love with Elise, a powerful, tough, and independent lady. Early on since childhood, Bert developed feelings for Elise. But puppy love is not yet something that should be taken seriously. They eventually split up to pursue their schooling and follow their goals. Their paths meet again years later, and old feelings are revived. But their situation has changed; they are no longer children, and love is no longer a child's game.
New struggles arise when their current situations do not work in their favor.
The film is entertaining, hilarious, and heartwarming all at the same time. They include details about the characters that will linger in your mind after you've seen it. You see, it's just an honest-to-goodness film that is both entertaining and does not sacrifice the film's quality for its entertainment. Everything about it was fantastic. Its story and how it wants the audience to feel while telling it.
It may look plain and simple from the trailer but Elise is straightforward, sincere, moving and beautiful.
